but is not limited to the Spare to Share app and all cloned and private/white label versions of the Spare to
Share app in the Apple iTunes Store and Google Play Store, plus web URL’s sparetoshare.com, asparetoshare.com,
and all URLs owned by A Spare to Share LLC, and all masked, cloaked or derivative URL's which are resolved
using A Spare to Share LLC code base and/or URLs, and all data created.
We are not liable for any transaction
The site is a venue for you to share, rent or sell products.
All aspects of the products or the transaction are the responsibility of the users
including condition of item, quality, safety, truth of accuracy, legality, ability/ownership
of other users, payment and returning of items are the responsibility of the users
and not Share to Spare.
We are not responsible for the safekeeping or return of your items
Any share, rent or sell transaction is an agreement between the item
owner and the item requester. Spare to Share holds no responsibility for the items or the
transaction in any way or at any time during the process.
At no point will Spare to Share take possession of items. All item
handoffs and transfers are the responsibility of the item owner and the item requester.
We assume no liability for fraudulent activities
We will be responsible with your information :
Passwords are stored as hash values, we may send you emails
for communication or promotional purpose.
We will protect and hide your email address in BCC's when emails are sent, with the exception of direct on-to-one emails.
Spare to Share will pull your browser or cookie information
in order to help improve the site functionality across platforms and make the user
end experience better.
We will use your personal information to market our services
to you and to analyze how our site is being used to improve your experience.
We will not share your personal information with 3rd parties
unless we have your consent (or are required to by law).
We may share aggregated, non-personal information. Information
would be summarized and you would not be able to be identified.
We will restrict how other users utilize your personal information;
however, some of your information will be shared with other members as designed.
You should exercise caution about the personal information you share.
We use SSL encryption to take reasonable measures to protect
your data.
Unauthorized or prohibited use:
- You must follow all applicable federal, state or local laws.
- You agree that you are at least 13 years of age.
- We do not allow these items to be listed in our database
:
- Fireworks
- All illegal items or items designed for illegal activities
(including, but not limited to, lock picking tools, switchblades, guns and substances
designed for the manufacturing of illegal goods).
- All drugs and narcotics including, but not limited to,
alcohol, over the counter drugs (Tylenol, Aleve, etc.), prescription only medications
and drug paraphernalia.
- Stolen items, including but not limited to items with removed
or intentionally obscured serial numbers.
- Items that are considered pornographic or that involve explicit material.
- Items that may be considered offensive to other users.
Really, we may forbid and delete from the database any items that we feel are not
appropriate for a family-friendly audience.
- While using Spare to Share you will not :
- Violate laws, third party rights, or Terms of Use.
- Use our site if you shouldn’t (underage, banned, etc.).
- Interfere with other members (including any and all forms
of harassment or contact with malicious intent).
- Attempt to sabotage our infrastructure.
- Attempt to bypass security.
- Post false content.
- Distribute spam.
- Steal our website functionality or code.
- Harvest information about other members.
- Add items or posts that aren’t allowed to be listed into the
database (see list above).
- You will not use harvesting bots, etc. to gather information.
- You will not post contests without prior written consent.
Spare to Share owns all site content
We reserve the right to remove and/or alter any content that is unlawful,
deemed inappropriate, appears to have been made in error, or does not fit in well with other content,
determined at our discretion.
You may be exposed to inappropriate or incorrect content
by using our website.
Photographs :
Don’t include pictures of people unless you have their
legal consent.
If you submit a picture, then you agree there are no copyright
issues or intellectual property rights, and by posting them they become property
of Spare to Share, LLC.
Use of our trademarks/copyrights/logos :
Don’t use our stuff without explicit permission.
Member Account Information
- It is our policy that all accounts created are for individually named
users with their first and last name who are real people and are not shared by multiple users.
- Your valid email address is how you receive all notifications.
If you want to discontinue communications, you will need to unsubscribe from communications
or unregister from website.
- Users who can form legally binding contracts under applicable
law may only use our services.
- You will keep your login (userid/password) confidential
as any actions taken by your login are considered as your actions.
- We have no liability for unauthorized transactions unless
you have notified us of a potential threat and we have adequate time to respond
to that threat.
- Termination of Account
- If you are causing problems, we will take technical and
legal steps to remove you from our site. You have no recourse for objection to this
and cannot hold us responsible. We have no responsibility to inform you we are taking
this action nor do we need to justify the action.
Copyrights and/or Removal of Content:
We respect intellectual property and expect our members
to do the same. If you find intellectual property has been violated, contact us
immediately.
General Disclaimers:
- You will use the site at your own risk.
- Your sole remedy against dissatisfaction is to stop using

Approved partners:
We may enter into partnership agreements with other vendors to better serve our client’s and user’s needs. These partnership agreements may include sharing of some personally identifiable information (PII) generally limited to name and email address. We request nor store any highly sensitive information such as credit cards or bank numbers so there are no PCI compliance concerns in this regard. All approved partners are listed in this section.
MyCheck:
MyCheck is a company that allows users to pay for snacks through their interface via credit cards. MyCheck handles all the credit card information if you choose to purcahse a snack via the app. Users enter the MyCheck portal once they click the Honor Market button in the create menu. At that point the user is no longer using the Spare to Share application.
For users in communities which use the MyCheck Honor Market we may send your name and email address information to the MyCheck system at app startup to ensure fast performance and a great user experience. In these cases MyCheck will take the name and email address and pre-register your account in their system so it will be primed and ready to go if/when the user chooses to user the honor market.
