Spare to Share is a Chicago-based technology start-up in the real estate industry seeking
motivated people to join our team! We help buildings, clubs and organizations improve their operations
and create a better sense of community leading to increased engagement, improved communication, enhanced
community, deeper loyalty and improved profitability. We do this via our mobile app and website.

What do you get?
The opportunity to work directly with company leadership and to shape our product and the direction of
the company. You - like all of us - will wear many hats. Some days you will end up
doing things totally different than what you thought when you woke up that
morning. You will meet tons of people and participate in interesting networking
events, and maybe even join our beach volleyball league this summer (all skill
levels welcome!). This is not always a 9-5 environment. We have occasional evening events that we host
and attend around Chicago within the tech startup
scene. Flexing hours is OK. Our offices are conveniently located in the
heart of the Chicago Loop, easily accessible by public transportation.
Our compensation package includes salary and benefits for full-time positions, commission opportunities
for sales roles, and a competetive stipend for interns. But the most interesting part of our compensation package
is the potential for equity in our company. Looking for a swing for the fences on your wealth creation
plan? We believe that everyone should be motivated to increase the overall company value by doing an
exceptional job at their particular tasks. But increased company value means nothing if you are not a

We have immediate openings for full-time resources in the following areas:

Business Development Associate – Sales meets entreprenuership in this exciting role with
amazing financial upside! We are looking for a self-motivated hustler who enjoys the challenge of finding creative
ways to grow our customer base. You will be involved with every step of the sales cycle, from knocking on
doors to making phone calls to closing deals, all while working directly with the senior management team. You
will be at the ground floor of a growing company with the ability to influence our product and our overall
direction. You will be hands-on as we enhance our sales process and define our sales organization.
We are looking for the right person to join our small dedicated team. You need to love to talk to people,
create relationships and solve problems. You need to like to walk the neighborhoods; part of this role is
visiting buildings all over Chicago. This can be an entry level role for the right person, but sales
experience is a plus - not necessarily a requirement.
Ideal qualifications and qualities:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent
- Highly motivated and entrepreneurial-spirited
- Love, love, LOVE communicating, face to face, on the phone or via email
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Able to juggle dozens of leads at a time
- Desire to manage a sales cycle and close deals
- Personable, energetic and professional
- Knowledge of the real estate inudstry including selling to property managers a plus
- No fear in walking through a door or calling someone you don't know
- Creative and efficient (i.e. work smart, then hard)

- Experience using a CRM (i.e. Salesforce, HighRise) a plus
